Here are some suggestions to make your massage experience comfortable and
relaxing.
Privacy ~ During your massage, you will remain completely covered with a
sheet and blanket except for the areas being massaged. Private areas remain
covered during the entire service.
Breathing ~ Help yourself relax through deep and regular breathing, with an
emphasis on exhalation, allowing your body to sink into the table and let go.
Communication ~ Talking is generally distracting and not recommended.
Massage requires concentration on the part of the therapist. Let the therapist
know if you desire more or less pressure, or if you are troubled by tension in
a specific area. A massage is your opportunity to feel better.
Focus ~ Closing your eyes during the massage will focus your attention on
your body. See with your sense of touch.
